I am a Licensed Independent
Clinical Social Worker
in Iowa, Minnesota, and Washington State
(LISW, LICSW).
I graduated with a Master of Social Work degree (MSW) from the
University of Iowa, where I also completed my undergraduate studies (BA, social work).
I am also trained in EMDR by
EMDRIA International
since 2021.
I was born and raised in the Midwest and recently relocated with my partner and our three naughty, rambunctious cats to the Pacific Northwest.
I enjoy taking long roadtrips through national parks, singing loudly and often, exploring new spaces and places, casual video gaming, and listening to audiobooks.
It's not uncommon for me to veg out on the couch watching the latest psychological thriller, and I can often be found making up silly & ridiculous songs that I sing to my less-than-impressed feline companions.
Thanks to my ADHD superpowers, I’ve dabbled in just about every hobby under the sun. I’ve crocheted half a scarf, baked cakes that sometimes defied gravity, tried my hand at photography, joined improv and sketch comedy groups, and thrown myself into community theater, local activism and community organizing.
When I’m not diving into new hobbies, you can find me in a hyper-focused spiral, strategizing my way to world domination in my favorite game, Civilization 6.
Let’s just say Ghandi and I have some history.
Life’s an adventure, and I’m here for all of it!
